Will Smith Backs President Obama’s Gay Marriage Stance

Will Smith isn’t just supporting President Obama‘s call for higher taxes among the rich, he’s also backing the POTUS in his stance for same-sex marriage.

While promoting Men in Black III in Berlin, Smith told reporters that legally allowing gay people to marry is “about semantics” and that Obama’s support for same-sex marriage was a “brave” move.

“[..] If anybody can find someone to love them and to help them through this difficult thing that we call life, I support that in any shape or form.”

Just last week Smith also praised Obama’s plan to raise taxes for the wealthy.

“I’m very supportive of that idea,” he told the Associated Press. “America has been fantastic to me. I have no problem paying whatever I need to pay to keep my country growing.”
