Black Eyes Peas front man will.i.am took to his Twitter page to clear up speculation of the group breaking up, after Kanye West told a crowd at a show in Austin, Texas.: "Rest in Peace to the Black Eyed Peas, You're gonna be missed."
A concerned fan sent a tweet to the group member's pages on Saturday stating, "@TabBep @apl_de @iamwill @bep: you guys should probably address @kanyewest's ACL "RIP Black Eyed Peas" statement."
will.i.am went on to reply, "maybe @kanyewest was stating the fact we will take a rest for a little bit...but we the @bep will never die...never...impossible."
The group did announce a hiatus in July to focus on separate projects. will.i.am, who was inspired by President Barack Obama's campaign in 2008, is now taking some time to focus on leveling the playing field for American students in science education.
