Is Wilmer Valderrama Down For A "70s Show" Comeback?

VIBE Posted January 22, 2013

With old school sitcom series crawling out of the vault and returning to the small screen (see "Boy Meets World"), there could be hope for other extinct tele-goodies.

VIBE caught up with actor/ comedian Wilmer Valderrama at the BET Inaugural Ball to discuss a possible "70s Show" flashback.

"I wouldn't rule out a possible movie, a one-episode reunion but I definitely think we don't look 18 anymore," says Valderrama, who played the hilarious foreign exchange student named Fez and starred alongside Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis on the series from 1998 to 2006. "We also respect the legacy we left behind - 200 episodes, 8 seasons in 8 years, so to try and recreate that magic again would be a crime."

Even reminiscing on day one of being casted for the show elicited a humblebrag. "The moment when we looked at each other and said, 'wow, I think we're actually gonna have a job tomorrow [and] this is going to stick around for a little bit, was magical for us because that's when we bought houses and we got new cars," he recalls. "That was the big moment when we were like, 'Ok, we're gonna be here to stay and we might as well do it right."
