Partygoers can rejoice now that New York City nightclub W.I.P., the venue known for the bottle-bopping throwdown between Drake and Chris Brown, will reopen today with increased security.
After losing its liquor license and various patron injuries (including San Antonio Spur star Tony Parker's scratched cornea), it seemed that the basement club of popular hotspot Greenhouse would remain closed.
According to Gawker, the city agreed to reopen the club on one condition: all glasses be replaced with plastic cups. Supreme Court Justice Geoffrey Wright sided with W.I.P. personnel in that the club would lose much revenue while being shut down. Greenhouse, excited about its reopening, said it would be committed to "providing a safe and fun atmosphere for our customers."
Let's pop bottles to that... or better yet, maybe not.
