Converse tapped Taylor gang leader Wiz Khalifa and musicians Hunter Hayes and Capital Cities for a cause that kicks back to music education.
The sneaker brand pledged to donate 20 sponsorships to high school students across the country in return for the artists rocking their kicks at the 56th annual Grammy Awards last night (Jan. 26). The scholarships allow the students to be a part of an interactive residential summer music program focusing on all aspects of commercial music to help them in their journey to join the recording industry. Converse has been supporting the camp since 2011, allowing them exclusive access to its Converse Rubber Tracks studio in NY.
