The world's first pregnant man, Thomas Beatie, has completed gender reassignment.
Beatie, who is identified as a man, still possessed functioning ovaries and bore three children because his wife suffered from infertility. He won't be adding any more babies to the family, however, now that he has surgically become a man.
Despite his all new equipment, Beatie is now separated from his wife, who he mentioned he is going through tough times with. “Nancy hasn’t seen the new me yet,: he revealed on the talk show THE DOCTORS. "Like all, we have our ups and downs, and we’re going through a rough patch right now. At the moment, we’re separated.”
The full interview is set to air May 7, in which Beatie will discuss the process of his reassignment. -- Jazmine Gray
