A new music series based on the life and times of Nas may be coming to a small screen near you. X Box Entertainment Studios is in the process of developing a half-hour series loosely based on the life of the hip-hop veteran, according to Deadline.
Titled Street Dreams, the series will be set in the 1990s in Nas' native Queensbridge. The show will be directed and written by Jonathan Levine, who worked on Method Man’s 2008 drama The Wackness.
Nas is currently prepping the 20th anniversary celebration of his debut Illmatic with a tour and special edition re-release of the LP this year.
