Yolk-free Egg McMuffin At McDonald's?

A yolk-free Egg McMuffin? McDonald's is looking to add the 'Egg White Delight' to menus this spring - just in time for beach season!

The new sandwich will be a variation of the old Egg McMuffin, but yolk-free. It will consist of a whole wheat muffin, Canadian bacon, white cheddar cheese, and an egg white patty. Those changes mean the yolk-free Egg McMuffin will weigh in at only 250 calories, compared to 300 for the regular Egg McMuffin.

Expect the yolk-free Egg McMuffin in stores April 22, and expect to able to substitute egg whites in other Mickey D's items as well!
