After years of threats, subliminal jabs, and altercations, Young Jeezy and his former nemesis Gucci Mane are calling it truce.
Gucci, who's serving out a 12-month prison sentence for probation violation, called into DJ Drama's "Gangsta Grillz Radio" show on Atlanta's 107.9 Thursday night, to make amends with Young Jeezy, who in the same radio segment, made up with DJ Drama.
Jeezy and Gucci's beef stretches back to late 2005, after a dispute over the record "Icey."
Drama, who set up the call, told MTV, "It wasn't the easiest thing."
The call was, at the least, sentimental.
"It's way bigger than all of us," Gucci told Jeezy during the call. "The way the city has been supporting all three of us, they deserve it. It's about that time. We getting older, growing, let's do it for the city."
When Young Jeezy asked what Gucci's plan was, Gucci replied, "make a movie. You know what we about to do."
Gucci's album, The State vs. Radric Davis, is set to be released Dec. 8. --Linda Hobbs
