Young Thug's label situation is almost as confusing as his rap dialect. After exec Kevin Liles said that Thugga was signed to the 300 label (with earlier confirmation from DJ Drama in April), the 22-year-old spitter made it clear that he is signed to YMCMB.
"We signed forever you dig? It is not no 300, it is not no 100...", Thug told MTV News, joined by Cash Money boss Birdman. "It's a lifetime warrantee you dig? It's in and out. Blood in and blood out."
Thug went through his fair share of label turmoil. The Atlanta rapper left Gucci Mane's Atlantic Records imprint 1017 for Artist Partners Group when the Bricksquad rapper went to prison in September. Things went sour at Atlantic which led to Thugger joining Future's Freebandz set under Epic/Sony.
Now, Thug has apparently found a home with Young Money. He hasn't wasted any time getting down with the crew either. He explained that he's working with Nicki Minaj and Lil' Wayne as well as his own album entitled #HiTunes.
