YouTube R&B Group Ahmir Covers Justin Bieber And Explains Organic Approach to Music

R&B quartet Ahmir continue to face the digital challenges of any viral artist on the come-up.

"I think our field has been exploited to where someone with no talent can get away with it, " Big Mike said. "If you're not playing well on a five-man basketball team, you sit down and now I feel you have a computer and you're a millionaire. It's disheartening."

Still, Ahmir--whose group name means "prince" in Arabic--didn't let the obstacles overcome them and have become the most popular R&B group on YouTube. "So many people in the industry try to be kings of it all that there's just a nice space for us to come in and do what we do."
