So we’re taking the debate to the people, to you – fans, Stans, and pros alike. Introducing VIBE Presents…The Best Rapper Alive, an interactive, NCAA-style tournament pitting the 64 top Mcs recording today against each other in a head-to-head competition: All this to determine who you believe to be the best in game.
The first round of voting begins July 21. Each round lasts one week – followed by our version of The Final Four. That’s when the tournament really heats up. Winners of each matchup will be determined by your vote at VIBE.com.
There are four brackets, represented by four of our fallen rap legends. Click on any one of them to begin voting. You can vote once a day for as many days as you like. At the end of five weeks, we’ll crown a king or queen, and the winner will be announced in our November issue.

That song is hot, but with those four cats I would have expected more. Lyrically, no one really tried to go in but T.I., but they did stick to the script. Jay's verse shows how ill he is. His verse wasn't on know lyrical ish, but his punches, delivery, and "swagger' damn near mad the song. Kanye and Weezy dropped more vocoder verses that didn't impress.

Alot of these comments have been so disappointing. Shout out to my real peeps posting. What the f**k happened to Hip Hop, it's still there but any commercial vestige, such as this website, seems to bring out more of the bad then good in the culture. So I have learned to duck my head back underground and stay there, there is not much good on this side. Underground Hip Hop forever, phuck this BS and what it represents and inspires.
