Born Curtis James Jackson, 50 cent is one of those rappers that took his opportunity into the game and expanded it to become an actor, writer, producer, clothing designer; the list goes on. He has his own blog gossip website and specialized uber-twitter themes. He recently launched his own brand of energy drinks called SK Energy, he launched own set of headphones, SMS Audio, and released a mixtape The Lost Tape this year. Just like 2011, 2012 seems like it is going to be another big year for 50 cent. Although he is very busy, 50, who is apart of the MoneyTeam with best friend Floyd Mayweather, has made time to support Mayweather in his recent fights.
One of the turning points with 50 cent was he recent interview with Oprah Winfrey about his dislike for her and his life in general. 50 cent who a few years back named his dog Oprah after he felt that she was anti hip-hop. Recently 50, who many claim he has had a few ‘final destination’ moments (his first being shot 9 times at the beginning of his music career) was involved in a serious car accident, however he is set to make a full recovery after minor neck and back injuries.
50 cents net worth is about $110 million as of April 2012 according to FORBES.
