Beyoncé has been having a year full of excitement, achievement, and extreme hard work. After giving birth to her first child, a daughter, Blue Ivy in January, Beyoncé took some time off to care for her newborn and support her husband Jay Z as he continued his Watch the Throne tour. Beyoncé was also featured on the cover of People's Magazine as the World's Most Beautiful Woman!
She gave her first concert after giving birth over Memorial Day weekend in Atlantic City at the Revel Hotel and Casino, a sold out breath-taking performance in which the likes of the First Lady, Michelle Obama was there. The accolades don't stop there however; she recently snagged 2 Teen Choice Awards nominations, 6 BET Awards nominations, and was casted in a new 3-D action comedy called Epic as Queen Tara. Most recently, Beyoncé’s’ daughter Blue Ivy was granted the status of honorary citizen of Hvar after it was reported that Beyoncé name her daughter after seeing a tree wrapped in blue ivy on her trip there with her husband in September 2011.
