Nearly 10 years after Hov’s monumental Blueprint release, rap’s biggest entrepreneur is back with the highly anticipated Watch the Throne. Teaming up with former protégé and producer Kanye West, the two go verse for verse on their upcoming project. Rumor has it the release will include limited guest appearances from Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, and OFWG’s Frank Ocean. After giving fans a glimpse into his troubled past with the autobiography Decoded, audiences expect nothing but greatness for Mr. Carter’s latest studio endeavor. With Watch the Throne being Hov’s 12th album, expect the collaboration with Yeezy to have an excellent reception. While the duo’s first single, H.A.M., received some mediocre reviews, producer Swizz Beatz has praised the elevated lyrical abilities of Marcy’s most famous former resident. It looks like it’s going to be a hot summer for Jay and B, as the ’03 Bonnie and Clyde couple are releasing an influx of music after brief hiatuses.
