Canadian singer/songwriter Justin Drew Bieber was discovered in 2008 after posting plenty of videos on youtube, singing covers to superstars such as Usher and Stevie Wonder. After being discovered by Scooter Braun, Bieber was linked to Usher where he was soon signed to Raymond Braun Media Group (RBMG) and later to Island Records. He released his first song in 2009, “One Time”, and became the first artist to have four songs on the billboard charts before the debut of his first album.
Justin Bieber has been staying ever relevant since being first discovered. In March 2010 he released his first full-length album, Justin Bieber 2.0, and breaking his female fans hearts when he began dating Selena Gomez the same year. In 2011, Bieber turned his talents towards movies with the release of his concert documentary, Never say Never, which earned over 73 million dollars and had guest appearances by Kanye, Miley Cyrus, and Usher. Bieber was introduced to his first scandal in 2011 when a woman filed a paternity suit against Bieber, claiming he was the father of her child, it was later determined he wasn't and that incidient became inspiration for his song ‘Maria’ off of his latest album Believe which was released in June of 2012. He was named Forbes 3rd most powerful celebrity this year and he earned about $55 million to date. Bieber extends his talents to rapping with his most popular song, Boyfriend, off of his latest album, Believe, which is in stores now.
