Alchemist Loses His Mind
Super-producer teams up with Oh No to form new group Gangrene- watch sneak peak here.
Prodigy
Name: Albert Johnson
Reppin': Queens, NY
Breakthrough: As the voice behind the hardcore Queensbridge hip hop duo Mobb Deep, Prodigy helped the group achieve both critical acclaim and commercial success when they dropped their second album, The Infamous (Loud/RCA), in 1995. The influential album featured P rapping over hard-hitting production from his partner Havoc, best demonstrated on the pair’s smash single “Shook Ones Pt. II.” and “Survival of the Fittest.” In 1999, the group achieved similar success with their fourth album, Murda Muzik (Loud/Columbia), which debuted at No. 3 on The Billboard 200 albums chart, thanks to their single “Quiet Storm.” P has also released three solo albums, including the gold-selling H.N.I.C. (Relativity, 2000).
Now You Know: Prodigy met Havoc when both of them were attending the prestigious High School of Art and Design in Manhattan in the early 1990s.

Prodigy is my son and I am so proud of the man that he is. He is doing well at The MidState Correctional Facility but I can't wait for him to be home from prison.
Please see him in light. God loves him so much and so do I. I know there are a lot of you who also love him. Keep him in your prayers. Support him when he comes home. Also remember SHYNE, REMY and DA BRAT.
