Fun Facts: Amerie was born to an African American father and Korean mother. Her first language is Korean. She often signs her name in both English and Korean when giving autographs. When asked about her Ebony/Korean mix, she sometimes remarks that she gets "her eyes from her Korean mother and her butt from African-American father."
