Claim to Fame: In 2004 Anika Noni Rose won a Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical for her role in the widely acclaimed Broadway show "Caroline, or Change." Her big break came in 2006 when she took on the role a “Lorrell Robinson” in “Dreamgirls” with Jamie Foxx, Eddie Murphy, Beyoncé and Jennifer Hudson.
