Breakthrough: As one half of the iconic Southern rap duo OutKast, Big Boi (along with partner Andre 3000) turned heads on the group's groundbreaking debut, Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik (Arista, 1994), which earned the duo the Best New Rap Group Award at the 1995 Source Awards. The group followed up with a series of increasingly innovative and successful albums, including ATLiens (Arista, 1996), Aquemini (Arista, 1998), and Stankonia (Arista, 2000), but it was the Grammy Award-winning double album, Speakerboxxx/The Love Below (Arista, 2003), composed of one album by Big Boi (Speakerboxxx) and one by Andre (The Love Below), that catapulted the group to an entirely new level of accomplishment. Today, Speakerboxxx/The Love Below is certified diamond.

Now You Know: In 2007, Big Boi played C-Note in the comedy Who's Your Caddy? (Dimension). In 2008, he told VIBE: "More people recognize me from Who's Your Caddy? than my music."
