There's been a distributing report of alleged teen sex trafficking and prostitution from a high school cheerleading team in Minnestoa.
Cheerleader Montia Marie Parker, an 18-year-old senior at Hopkins High School in Minnetonka, was arrested on May 22 after cops say she set up an online sex ad for a 16-year old teammate. Parker is accused of driving her teenage victim to the man's house and ordering her to perform oral sex on the john for $60 dollars. Afterward, authorities allege she deposited the money into her own bank account.
"When we learned of [the charges], we acted immediately to ensure the safety of all Hopkins High School students,” said Jolene Goldade, spokeswoman for the school district, in a statement.
Parker faces two felony charges and 20 years in prison or a $50,000 fine. She has been charged with 2 felonies.
