Following their purchase of the photo app Instagram, Facebook has launched its own standalone camera app.
Through the app, users will have access to their friends' Facebook photos in one centralized location as well as have the opportunity to share multiple photos of their own all at once.
It allows quicker browsing of photo albums and similarly to Instagram, users will be able to edit photos with a variety of different filters, cropping tools and rotating and zooming functions.
“When you launch the app, you'll see a feed of just great photos from the people you care about. You can swipe to see more of any album or tap to enlarge an individual photo,” said Facebook’s Dirk Stoop.
The Facebook Camera app is now available to download for iPhone users in the app store.
