Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (Rockstar Games)

Storyline: When the Grand Theft Auto series sent 3-D a few years ago, the video game industry went nuts.

Audio/Visual: Not much has changed in the graphics department. The character models look pretty much the same as the previous two 3-D titles. But hey, it works doesn't it? The music, once again, is huge in San Andreas. There are 11 different radio stations ranging from west coast hip-hop to 90's new jack swing to country and alternative rock. Plus the voice acting from Samuel L Jackson, Chris Penn, MC Eiht, Charlie Murphy, James Woods, Yo-Yo, Kid Frost and Young Malay as the lead character actually makes you look forward to the cut scenes. Controls: Some of the buttons were moved around (the radio stations are now controlled using the D-pad), but for the most part it remains the same. Some movements, like making your lowrider bounce up and down the street or lifting weights at the gym, or taking a swim in a lake, are new to the game but are pretty much easy to get a handle of. Hotness: The game seems endless. You can spend countless hours doing missions to move the story along in three different cities plus completing various side quests. Wackness: THIS GAME IS NOT FOR KIDS! You can't even play it in front of children. The dialog is like watching a remake Menace II Society or Boyz N The Hood, it has very vulgar language and you already know about the violence. There are also some complaints of stereotyping African Americans, Mexican Americans and other ethnicities, but hasn't GTA been doing that since day one?
