AGE: 18
BORN : Sunset Park, Brooklyn, NY
RESIDES: Los Angeles PERSONAL MOTTO:
"Live life as if you have a purpose, even if you haven't figured out what it is yet." It kinda means like, even if you don't exactly know what you're doing right now, do it like you mean it. I think everything you do you need to do with full intention and with confidence, even if you're not exactly fully prepared for it yet or not exactly sure what's the outcome, do it like you mean it. SOMETHING I DO EVERY DAY FOR SANITY:
I have a really great family, and being with them keeps me sane. It makes me insane at the same time, but they keep me really grounded and we're really tightknit. I have three sisters. The 14-year-old and I have play fights but none of us really argue, ever. My 14-year-old sister just graduated junior high yesterday. I'm nervous for her to start high school - she'll be fighting off all the boys! PLACE WHERE I'M MOST PRODUCTIVE:
Two places. One is on the plane. A lot of music comes to me on the plane. I kind of just sit there on the four-hour ride and it's the hum of the engine. The other strange place is the shower. A lot of movie ideas come to me in the shower. Script ideas, even character choices. I take a long time in the shower cause I kind of sit there and let the water run on me and procrastinate. I guess there's something about a continuous noise. FAVORITE ARTICLE OF CLOTHING:
It's a ring. I wear it every single day. I've had it since I was like 14, I think. I got it made in Vegas with my best friend and it says Bleuman, which is my nickname. It's really cool. It's just a band, and the guy cut it out with a saw. I wear it every single day. My dad's been calling me Bleuman since I was pretty much born. It's Bleu and he thought of me as a little man, I guess. A couple of my friends call me Bleuman, too. PERSON I ADMIRE MOST:
Definitely my parents. Morally, everything they've done and every bit of drive I have, they instilled in me. As for people that inspire me, I really, really look up to Johnny Depp. I think he's one of the most talented people. Every single time I hear stuff about him, I hear he's one of the nicest guys. That he's got a very level head on his shoulders. Everybody always says he does all his work with a smile on his face and I always strive to do that, too - to always stay positive. As for music, Michael Jackson. I don't think there's any better performer than him.
I'm kind of a happy person. I think it might actually even get on people's nerves sometimes. I enjoy life and I have a lot to be happy about. Why be sad? There's no point. 5 YEARS AGO, MY GOAL WAS:
I didn't picture myself in this position, I can tell you that for sure. I've always kind of lived in the now. I always just enjoyed what I did. Five years ago I think I was doing Catch That Kid. I'd book a whole bunch of jobs and go do them, but it was never something that was a huge celebrity factor. Since High School Musical, it's a whole other level and it's crazy. I never expected it. I'm lovin' it and it's fun. 5 YEARS FROM NOW, MY GOAL IS:
I wanna do everything. Because I've been doing everything for so long. FAVORITE BOOK, AND WHY:
The Great Gatsby. I'm a hopeless romantic - I love the whole romance of it. I love the whole character of Gatsby. He's such a smooth character - there's a lot of symbolism, I really just latched onto it. FAVORITE MOVIE, AND WHY:
Pirates of the Caribbean-- the first one. Ray. After seeing that movie I gained the biggest respect for Jamie Foxx. He was Ray. I don't get emotional at movies but I did at that one. It was really good. Rocky Horror Picture Show. I've always wanted to be in that, that'd be cool. I would wanna play Riff Raff. It's a musical that's just out there. It takes a lot of courage to do with Tim Curry did, playing Frankenberger. I give him a lot of respect. It's fun. I remember the first time I watched it I was a little shocked but I was very intrigued. Then I got to see the musical and I loved it. As for Pirates? Johnny Depp. He's so good in everything. Gosh man, he's so good. Songs I Love To Dance To:
"Don't Stop Till U Get Enough" Michael Jackson
"Let's Go Crazy" Prince
"Dead Man's Party" Oingo Boingo
"Let's Get It Started" Black Eyed Peas
"Switch" Will Smith
