Street Talk

Street Talk

The streets are talkin about the highly anticipated and revered East Coast compilation CD, Street Talk, released by Show D.I.T.C., WildLife Entertainment and Lumberjack Records. With cuts featuring Fat Joe, the late underground legend Big L, the late Latin hip hop trailblazer Big Pun, M.O.P, and Party Arty, among others, Street Talk returns street rhymes and sample-laden production to their rightful place in the rap music arena - this is straight from the crates!

Street Talk was produced by Show of the critically acclaimed duo, Showbiz and AG. In a recent issue of Elemental magazine, Editor Michael Cusenza comments, "Fat Joe makes several quality appearances and sounds excellent on Show's beats. With Kanye West and Just Blaze spearheading a welcome return to sample-based production, it's only fitting, not to mention respectful, to pay close attention to each release from those who came before and really built the soundtrack to hip-hop life in the '90s with their dusty mastery, namely Diggin' In The Crates Crew."

P-Cutta Presents A. Pinks 10 Rap Commandments

P-Cutta Presents A. Pinks 10 Rap Commandments

Hailing from the Ravenswood's Projects of Queens, A-Pinks is a lyrical force to be reckoned with. The 40-minute, 10 track CD hosted by P-Cutta, features the artist's take on the streets. He takes on the Notorious B.I.G's "Ten Rap Commandments," on "Thou Shalt Maintain Orginality & Authenticity," with pure confidence. When he closes with "Hidden Testament 3," over "Somebody's Gotta' Die," you might compare him to Queens legend Nas for packing so much meaningful content into so few bars.
