Adventurous eating or animal cruelty?
A Florida restaurant is wrapped up in controversy for a new "exotic" taco that they recently added to their menu. Taco Fusion, a new eatery known for serving wild game and other uncommon meats has already served shark, gazelle, ostrich, rattlesnake and kangaroo meals. However, they have chosen to remove lion meat tacos from their menu after being engulfed in controversy and complaints.
The restaurant's owner released this statement on the company's website: “Some of you were supportive, some of you were angry. We listened to everyone and decided to no longer carry lion.”
Although some patrons did enjoy the lion tacos, Taco Fusion has no plans to ever reintroduce the item.
