VIBE Vixen Adds Beauchamp, Perry, Boardley

Beauchamp comes to VIXEN with a wealth of experience. She has worked as an editor in the beauty and fashion departments of Seventeen, Suede and O, The Oprah Magazine. Beauchamp graduated cum laude with a B.A. in English literature from Spelman College. Perry joins VIBE Media Group with an extensive knowledge of the use of design in marketing, advertising, and editorial. Having served as art director for Time Inc.'s Seude magazine and freelanced as an art director at Essence, Perry is well known for her cutting-edge technique. She has also worked in design for companies such as Revlon and Ann Taylor, Inc. Perry graduated from Hampton University with a B.A. in graphic design. Boardley rejoins the VIBE team after serving as the intern assistant to the director of photography almost ten years ago. Since then, Boardley has been photo editor for Blaze magazine, Honey, and Heart & Soul. Most recently, she was senior photo editor at In Touch Weekly, where, among many other duties, she managed a staff of ten. "As VIBE VIXEN makes the leap from four times to six times a year, Creative Director Dwayne Shaw and I are very excited about bringing Tai, Erika, and Deborah to the team," says VIBE VIXEN Editor-in-Chief Danyel Smith.
