VIBE and Seagram's Gin teamed up to create this one-of-a-kind online concert series.  These high-impact online recording sessions feature emerging and established artists performing in a live venue. The programs have delivered over 18 artist sessions and  showcase the artist through exclusive recordings, biographical information, photos, stories and interviews.  Visitors to the site watch videos, discuss the artists and listen to their music.  Over 500,000 unique visitors have enjoyed V Sessions watching artists videos for more than 50,000 hours.  This multi-platform program includes promotional pages in VIBE magazine and five-star events around the country.

VIBE Verses Rap Battle Competition brought to you by AT&T Wireless

In January 2007, VIBE started the "VIBE Verses" Rap Battle competition with A&TT Wireless. VIBE put up $10,000 in cash and a free recording session in Los Angeles to the best amateur rapper in the country. AT&T Wireless branding was integrated on all program elements promoting a new cell phone plan and options. VIBE Verses was an instant success. Over 70,000 users signed up to listen to 4,000 user generated videos. After two months, 340,000 people watched 1.5 million videos and a winner was crowned. VIBE is launching the 4th Verses competition this fall on VIBE.com. The audience is ready and waiting for the next opportunity to win prizes and be crowned the next Verses competitions. The program includes promotional pages in the magazine, a winner congratulations page and a final event where the Verses champion performs on stage.

Nissan Altima Keys Mobile Sweepstakes

VIBE.com, The True Agency and Blackrock Digital recently won a 2008 Effie Award for the Nissan Altima Keys campaign. This online/mobile marketing program explained the new features of the vehicle through a text messaging sweepstakes program. Altima key chains with text message codes were distributed around the country via VIBE street teams. Consumers then found the keys and texted "altima" to VIBE to win a $20 gas card or a subscription to VIBE magazine. The program returned excellent interaction on cell phones and VIBE.com.
