Fabolous isn't happy about his latest rant about 50 Cent being "taken out of context."

The Brooklyn rapper claims 50 Cent dropped him a line expressing disappointment after Fab discussed Fif's Thisis50 Fest at New York's Governor's Island Saturday (October 3), on Twitter three days after the show. At the festival, 50 gave the stage to performers ranging from D-Block to Kid Cudi to Maino.

"Its interesting to [see] 50 Cent unite [with] NY artists when he's [one] of the reasons NY hip hop became so isolated [and] crumbled... Do [you] agree NY??" Fabolous tweeted.

"I wonder if this is a law in The 50th Law... guess it was a good show [for] NY. But if [you] asked 50 a few years ago if he ever saw [himself] on stage with any of them he would've said 'Hell No!'"

Not surprisingly, word got back to 50 about Fabolous' Twitter-vent. On Thisis50.com, the rapper responded by simply saying, "Reading what Fab said about me on Twitter was disappointing. I have extended myself to Fab personally to allow him to expand himself as an international touring artist. I thought we were friends but that's cool."

When word got back to Fabolous, he attempted to explain himself, through Twitter, once again.

"Woke up [to] see my Twitter topic of discussion [about the] 50 Cent concert was taken out of context. Made what I said look like I'm [hating] or dissin'. 50 Cent responded to my tweets [saying] 'he was disappointed [and] thought we were friends'. But I don't think I said anything bashing him." Fabolous tweeted Wednesday (October 7).

"[Definitely] wasn't hating," he continued. "I said if anything it was a good show [for] NY. And I was invited [to] perform too, but I had my own show [to] do at Lincoln U. And I wasn't dissing 50 either, my opinion was brought on by the history of the 50 Cent's hip-hop career." --Linda Hobbs
