After dropping a steamy single called "'Sex Therapy," singer Robin Thicke is expecting a child with his wife, actress Paula Patton.

This will be the couple's firstborn. The happy partners, who married in 2005, never shied from making their interest in parenthood known to the public. In 2008, Thicke told People magazine that he and his wife thought about adopting. "We're still little kids ourselves in some ways! I want a big family which means we'll probably end up adopting."

Paula Patton most recently starred in the movie Precious, which is already receiving critical acclaim. Precious, which was produced by Tyler Perry and Oprah Winfrey, and co-stars Mariah Carey, is based on the 1996 Sapphire novel Push. --Linda Hobbs
