Singled Out: Mariah Carey Feat. Big Boi, Gucci Mane, and OJ Da Juiceman "H.A.T.E.U. (Remix)"

Jermaine Dupri phones in some dirty-South spitters for this Ghost Town DJ's-sampling remix, with So-So results. Do you L.O.V.E. Mariah's new mix?

This remix sounds like old-school Mariah remixes! I absolutely love it! Her recent remixes weren't anything special but this remix is better than the original in my opinion. Overall, I'm really impressed with it and this will be on repeat on my itunes as soon as it becomes avalible for purchase.

I feel like I am one of Mimi's biggest fan's and I'll say that I do like this remix but I'm not totally in love with it...but then again her songs grow on me. Like I wasnt in love with Obsessed when it first came out...then I became obsessed lol. If I know Mimi, there will be more than one remix for H.A.T.EU. Im hoping for a slower remix. I agree, I like her older remixes like the I Still Believe (Pure Imagination) rmx & My All ( Stay Awhile) rmx. Mariah is a phenomenon when it comes to the remix...a force to be reckoned with...

I love "thank god i found you" with joe and nas, beautiful vocals and remix, love HATEU the original song, but right now we need a HUGE hit, to put her at NUMBER 1 and a Great video (not some beauty piece/laying on the floor or with a fan on her and her weave), but a GREAT VIDEO and STANDING O to put her up there with Rihanna and Beyonce.

HATEU is not gonna do it. just like Bye Bye, That Chick or Loving you logn time.....

Mariah's collaborations with rappers is old. She needs a new direction, fast. She remains at the top by her sheer vocal talent, personality and love of her fans - but this music, though good, is not great. The rapping becomes distracting and the injection of it is sounding repetitive. Enough, already! She doesn't need rappers or even, dancers. All she needs is a stage and material that showcases her voice. She is one of the best singers of all time, but she seems to be flirting with losing that title with her production choices. It's like she's dumb-downing her skills. On her next project I would love to see her work with producers with more diverse experience, like Quincy Jones, Prince who have written and produced singers of her calibre and who can really bring out her vocal skills.

I'm LOVIN' IT!!! I love all her So-So Def remixes and am sooo glad she went back to it. She's the ONE artist who does these remixes justice for both the old and new track. Keep doing these type of remixes Mimi; can't wait for this to come out!

    DISAPPOINTED IN MARIAH/IDJ/LA REID.

Horrible promotion. 2nd cd with bad single choices. Videos are released too late or not at all. HORRIBLE. Is Mariah's label trying to destroy her career. Mariah Carey who is played on every station, had the weakest cd release numbers of her career. WHY?

    1. They release a ballad that she sounds great on, but screws up the words, forgets to include the INCREDIBLE 2nd verse and it's old.
    2. The hold STANDING O, O, O,O and will not release it, when it's just as strong as Single Ladies or Umbrella.
    3. No video release for 2nd Single, and that video should have been done right after Obsessed to conicide with the relase of the CD
    4. Mariah Carey's performances (other than the view) have been horrible, and for her to be a Icon and legendanry performer she looks stiff, bored, and lazy vocally on all the performances.
    5. After they failed with E=MC2 and kept Thanks for nothing in limbo....they should have gave it a shot. Women in the cut/hood can relate to that song and standing. O.

Mariah...i have supported you for years, and now, i find myself sick of you and the drama. Your record label also.

I kind of agree but you have to remember we're in a recession. Mariah even said that budgets for MVs aren't the same as they were compared to just a few years ago. I don't think IWTKWLI would be a hit single in the US anyways. I'm sure there will be a MV for H.A.T.E.U. though. I would Angel's Cry to be a single.

I do miss high buget MVs like..well..all her videos from TEOM :/

    God damn this recession.
