Shaq's Wife Files For Separation

After almost 7-years of marriage, Shaunie O'Neal, the wife of NBA star Shaquille O'Neal, is filing for legal separation.

According to TMZ, Shaunie is setting things up for a possible divorce, after citing in legal papers "irreconcilable differences." She has reportedly already left Shaq, and has left their home in Florida to fly to Los Angeles where the papers were filed. The couple's four children, who she has requested to receive full custody of, were pulled out of school and are in Los Angeles as well. How much she seeks in child and spousal support from Shaq, who recently applied to become a special deputy for Cuyahoga County, has not been determined. -Linda Hobbs

    This was Shaunie's master plan all along. She just waited in the tall grass to strike like a cobra when Shaq's defenses were down. California is a 50-50 state. That means the wife will get half. And California residency in court proceedings is usually 90-180 days. Shaq has to post all his earnings, since he's worth in the neighborhood of $130-$150 million.

    She's sick of him & his pregnant girlfriends and all his cavorting around. Why did he marry, if he knew he just wanted to have sex with every other female on the planet? We truly get the people we deserve . . . sooner or later . . .
