2010 Grammy Nominations In: Beyoncé Leads All Artists With 10 Nods

Nominations for the 2010 Grammy Awards are in, and it’s Beyoncé leading the pack with 10 nods, while Taylor Swift is right behind her with eight.

Beyoncé’s honors include noms in the evenings top categories, including “Album of the Year” for I Am … Sasha Fierce — where she’s up against the Black Eyed PeasThe E.N.D., and Lady Gaga‘s The Fame — and Record of the Year for her hit single, “Halo.”

Other top nominees include the Black Eyed Peas, Maxwell, and Kanye West all earning six; Jay-Z, Lady Gaga and David Guetta with five; and T-Pain, Bruce Springsteen, and others with four a piece.

The upcoming awards ceremony is set to take place on January 31st in Los Angeles, and will be the Grammy’s 52nd annual show.

For the second year in a row, a portion of the announcements were made during a prime-time concert special on CBS. Hosted by LL Cool J, performances included the debut of Nick Jonas and the Administration, and a tribute to Michael Jackson from Maxwell.
