And his latest, A Long Hot Summer, is another testament to this, as he weaves all of the above over a superb selection of soul beats. Best moment: 9th Wonder flipping Raekwon’s “Ice Water” as Ace ponders the state of rap on “Good Ol’ Love.” Though his singles may not rule radio, as far as full-lengths go, this is how it should be done.
