When Nivea sang "Don't Mess With My Man" in '02, she demanded respect. Naturally, on her sophomore release, the aspiring R&B princess wants more of the same. But she falls back on the usual tricks of the trade: cameos by Lil Jon and the YoungBloodZ on "Okay"; a familiar sample on "I Can't Mess With You" (which borrows from Mary J. Blige's "Everything"); and a racier image. Although this shorty's soprano sounds older, raspier, and sexier, raunchy tracks like "Quickee" and "Gangsta Girl" (where R. Kelly re-enacts his tired flamenco bit), come up short.
