right The first single, “S.E.X.,” comes with a catchy chorus and a warning about men who want to have “relations, not relationships” with young women. The mid-tempo “Ghetto Superman” sounds like the sequel to “Stick Up Kid,” while “Still Here,” featuring Three 6 Mafia, is a stirring ’hood spiritual.
Jennings steadily pays respect to the higher power and to the musicians who came before him. Slower and sadder than the original, “Goodbye“ is an introspective interpolation of Gladys Knight & the Pips’ “Neither One of Us (Wants to Be the First to Say Goodbye),” while the hard-hitting “Biggie Nigga” displays Lyfe’s gritty thug side. He also remakes Tupac’s “Keep Ya Head Up,” which could have easily been problematic, but instead is an inspirational tribute to both women and ’Pac.
Clearly, Lyfe has a knack for making bad situations sound good.

i love lyfe jennings. he's like a breathe of fresh air from a lot of the fakes out today. he's real and unlike some doesn't brag about going to prison, but tells it and shows people anything is possible. god gave us some good and hopefully he will be here for a very long time. i am 17 years old and he has really gotten to me with S.E.X. eversince apollo, when i heard Cry, he had me then and i told my mother he was going to be signed. took too long, but he's here now and i'm happy. congats to Lyfe.
