Young Dro - Best Thang Smokin’ (Grand Hustle/Atlantic)
right From bouncy efforts like “Rubberband Banks”—where the Atlanta MC compares his candy paint to bumblebees and Oreos—to deep dedications (the emotional “Hear Me Cry”) to downright silly lines like, “I’m rich / Nothing to do / So I’m taking up karate” (on “100 Yard Dash”), he’s an outside-the-box thinker. Even the club hit “Shoulder Lean” has a touch of the absurd, showing that although he may be Grand Hustle’s oddball, Dro won’t be the odd man out.
