Crisp 10-track sampler riffs on electro-pop, house, and TV jingles.

Orlando is best known for theme parks and prefab pop, but this Canadian producing duo is fast making it the world’s hipster dancehall capital. After their innovative Greensleeves rhythm albums Clappas (2003) and Red Alert (2004) failed to take Jamaica by storm, SRC experimented with UK drum & bass and landed a deal with cool kid impresario Diplo. This crisp 10-track sampler riffs on electro-pop, house, and TV jingles, freshening reggae stalwarts Capleton and T.O.K., but leaving the wickedest cuts (“Test Me Nuh” and “Hotter Than Them”) for fellow Torontonian Kid Foreigner. Good look, eh?
