Imagery that would make Papa Smurf blush.

What are Spider Loc’s true colors? On this teaser to his forthcoming G Unit debut, the self-proclaimed Compton Crip salutes his gang’s favorite hue on the clever “Blutiful World,” with imagery that would make Papa Smurf blush. But in his hard, straightforward flow, Spider is mostly thuggin’ without cause, conscience, or context. But what’s behind all the rag-waving? Soul-searching moments like, “His daughters just know/ Daddy writes these songs / And he say before long/ He gon’ right these wrongs,” from “All I Know” suggest that maybe Spider’s introspective gems are secrets best shared.
