New images of the alleged iPhone 5 have popped on a Chinese tech blog causing many experts to weigh in on the authenticity of the photos.
The sleek black pics fooled even the likes of BGR.com, Ubergizmo, Apple Insider, and more. It turns out Dutch designer Martin Hajek created the images on his computer and posted them to his Flickr account.
“It’s been amazing and a lot of fun to see how many 'knowledgable' people fell for them,” Martin Hajek told FoxNews.com. It's a testimony to how embedded Apple has become in our daily life,” he said.
Hajek actually works for a large Japanese consumer electronics company and created the images for fun. He has no ties to Apple.
“As a (former) industrial designer I like to play around with 3D modelling and visualizing,” Hajek told FoxNews.com. “Apple's unreleased products lend themselves perfectly to play with.”
Don't believe the hype people!
