Janet Jackson to Release New Album
Ms. Jermaine Dupri herself is almost done recording her next album. Coincidentally dropping 20 years after the release of the mega-hit Control, the untitled Virgin Records compilation will actually contain a tribute to the top-selling album. The first single should hit the airwaves February of ’06.
right In addition, Ms. Jackson has also reportedly taken on a movie role in a film titled Tennessee, where she will be playing opposite Macaulay Culkin and Martin Henderson. The film follows the story of two brothers on a road trip in search of their estranged father. Makes us wonder if Janet is pulling a Charlize Theron on us, gaining the recent extra pounds for the sake of her on-screen character...?
Shooting for the film is scheduled to begin March 2006.
