There's a little something new for your PS2, PC, Xbox, and GameCube Tamala Jones waded through crowds of adoring fans at the biggest video-game convention in the world to get the lowdown on the best new software. For Tamala Jones, the star of the WB's For Your Love and the films Kingdom Come and The Brothers, strolling through the E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) in Los Angeles was no easy feat. All she wanted to do was get her hands on a joystick, but every few steps tech junkies clamored for a picture or an autograph. That didn't stop her from getting her fix on, though. "Oh my God, it was like video-game heaven," she said afterward. "It was overwhelming." Eventually, she got down to business and told us about some of the games that revved her up the most. 1. Shinobi (Sega) PlayStation 2 Expected release date: December 2002 "The effects are incredible; you get to see all the blood. It's just so smooth, it's like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. You do all these kicks, you're climbing the walls, you sneak up behind people. You feel like you're floating - it's so samurai." 2. James Bond 007: NightFire (Electronic Arts) GameCube, PC, PlayStation 2, Xbox Expected release date: November 2002 "This is definitely the real 007. There is no easy way to get out of anything. You have to aim correctly, you have to move strategically, and you have to have a plan before you go anywhere, or you'll be dead. I got busted in the head-twice." 3. Primal (SCEA) PlayStation 2 Expected release date: January 2003 "This is really evil. The character is like this half-woman, half-monster,Äîbut she's hot. She's got supernatural powers and can fight her ass off. It's very much - I'm going to do what I have to do, but I'm going to make sure I look sexy - The next time you see me run in a movie, I'm going to run like her." 4. Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance (Midway) GameCube, PlayStation 2, Xbox Expected release date: November 2002 "Oh. My. God! Mortal Kombat has always been the ultimate ass-kicking game, but this one is even more awesome. I can't even talk straight, I'm so fucking amazed. This is the best game I saw all day."
