Records scathing diss record on behalf of friend LeBron James

The so-called beef between the Washington Wizards DeShawn Stevenson, Cleveland Cavaliers’ LeBron James, and rappers Soulja Boy and Jay-Z has just hit a new level of one-upmanship. Soulja Boy’s appearance at game three of the Wizards/Cavaliers playoff series, was thought to be the final straw (check out "Better Than Basketball"), but Jay-Z, a close friend of LeBron James, just could not stay out of it.

Over Too $hort’s “Blow The Whistle” beat, Jay-Z goes in on DeShawn Stevenson without actually saying his name. Check out last week’s Vibe.com story, then take a listen to the Jay-Z freestyle. The Washington Wizards ended up losing game four, putting them one game away from elimination, but who’s winning the other battle? Hear the song and let Vibe.com know.

I haven't heard the song and I don't even like basketball, but I'm smart enough to know that this is some dumb mess. I would look down on him for stooping down to write a diss song to another rapper at his status in the game...but a diss song to a basketball player??Excuse my portuguese, but THATS some stupid shit. Shoooot...Let me hear about Wayne dissin Kobe on a track. I'mma go find my baby and whoop him myself. My homegirl Bey needs to get on him about that. Don't he got some endorsement deals to be signing or something???

haha this whole thing is goofy, will it really promote record sales no. it's simply about respect...
i think that it's crazy to say lebron is equivalent to jay-z. that's ridiculous. he's 23, he's never won anything, he's acting like the champ when he hasn't won shit. i would compare him closer to soulja boy than to jay-z. kobe or jordan are like hova, not lebron. i love jay-z and i used to like bron bron. but have lost all respect for lebron during this series. everyone knows he's better than stevenson, it's not even close. this has just shown what a baby lebron is. he should also learn how to take a hit. lebron: you are not michael jordan and you are not jay-z. stevenson is just playing with him, it's hilarious.
