HOT FIVE AT 5: Featuring Bobby Ray

Also starring Young Buck, Brandy, The-Dream and Yung Berg

B.o.B aka Bobby Ray - "Do You Really Have the Stamina"

Bobby picks up right where Kanye's "fame ain't all it's cracked up to be" soliloquy from "Pinocchio Story" left off. Really though, Mr. West said all that needed to be said, so Ray's lyrics feel more redundant than poignant.

Young Buck feat. Hi-C and Lil Murda – “Overcharge Me”

Young Buck is a perfect example of why you shouldn't burn bridges. Since being booted out of G-Unit, the Tennessee rapper hasn't been able produce a cut that's mildly exciting. This rock-infused mess—dedicated to inflation on choice drugs—is no different.

Brandy & Ne-Yo - “Too Little Too Late”

What should be a colossal duet falls flat. On this ballad, the two trade woulda-shoulda scenarios about lost loves. Ne-Yo, known for blessing many with hits, can’t revive Brandy's career with this one.

The-Dream - "Hit It On the Road"

From his forthcoming Love vs Money: The Hangover Edition (Radio Killa/Def Jam)

Mr. Nash throws his fitted into the rap ring, joining T-Pain and Trey Songz as singers who moonlight as rhymers. This time he spits for the entire song. He takes an L, though. This bass-heavy cut about breaking off chicks on the road would be better coming from a real rapper.

Yung Berg feat. Cap One, Shakez and Casha - “Radio”

Berg seems bent on recreating “Sexy Lady,” his only major hit so far. Though this is a decent try, it doesn’t stack up.
