LaBelle, Simpson Booked For 'Divas'
The sweet-singing, sweet-cookin' Patti LaBelle joins housewife of the year Jessica Simpson as the first two confirmed participants in the annual duel of egos known to most as VH1 Divas, Billboard reported. The show -- now in its seventh installment -- will air live on April 18 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Vegas. As usual, the event raises money for the Save the Music Foundation. Additional performers will be announced soon.
