Yes, we all loved Andre 3000’s energetic performance at the Grammy’s on Sunday Feb. 8. Well, not all. A group of Native Americans, primarily from the Native American Cultural Center in San Francisco, have filed a formal complaint with the FCC, calling the performance “the most disgusting set of racial stereotypes aimed at American Indians…ever seen,” according to www.sohh.com. Andre 3000 and dancers wore green buckskin dresses and leggings, not to mention the tipi that was used as a background prop during the performance. A spokesperson for CBS issued an apology, saying the network was “very sorry if anyone was offended by the performance.”
