Pharrell's For Real When It Comes to the Animals
Whiz Producer Pharrell Williams of the Neptunes has joined PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) in the fight to prevent animal cruelty. On Peta2.com, users can download a message about PETA from the N.E.R.D. that can be put on your answering machine or cell's voicemail. As of late PETA has been recruiting hip hoppers, rockers, and other musicians to help spread its message, with the Roots and Pink also signed on for upcoming plugs. According to the website, "PETA believes that animals are not ours to eat, wear, experiment on, or use for entertainment."
