Alicia Keys Inks Book Deal
Didn't you think The Diary of Alicia Keys sounded like the perfect name for a book? Well, now it is. Alicia Keys has inked a deal with Penguin Imprint GP Putnam's Sons to author two books. One book, titled by the same name as her latest CD release, will be published in 2005, and another—Songbook will come out in November. Songbook is a book of poetry and lyrics. Keys has also signed on for her first film role to play biracial child piano prodigy Phillipa Schuyler.
