Ras Gets His Priorities Straight

Incarcerated emcee Ras Kass wants out. Not just out of jail--out of his recording contract. His lawyers have filed a civil complaint against Priority Records in LA County Superior Court based on claims that they breached specific acts of his contract and is seeking $5 million in damages. Almost five years after his sophomore release, fans are still waiting to hear from the jailed rapper. While he serves a nine month sentence for his third DUI, two completed albums, Van Gogh and Goldn Chyld, are still collecting dust in Priority’s archives.
