Hip Hop Caucus

On Tuesday June 15 at 2pm a congressional candidate will make hip hop history. Cynthia McKinney, who is running for the Fourth District Of Georgia's Congressional seat, will webcast her address on hip hop culture on cynthiaforcongress.com. The congresswoman plans to address issues affecting the hip hop generation, community and industry and her five- point hip hop platform. "For years I have worked with those committed to making hip hop a constructive vehicle for social change, economic empowerment, and political consciousness,” she said in a statement. “Soon, it will be a hip hop world. I care what kind of world the hip hop generation inherits.”
